It’s 2001 and I’m in the rooftop pool at Le Parker Meridien, a 5-star hotel in the heart of New York City, looking down on Central Park and thinking, This Is The Life! It was my first assignment as an independent management consultant. I’d finally escaped the shackles of corporate life and taken the first step to becoming my own boss.

In the years which followed, I realized how many people shared the same frustrations. Based on my own experiences as an interim manager, consultant and franchisee I also began to understand the practical steps people need to help them realize their life goals and aspirations.

In 2013 I took the decision to launch Transpire to give people the guidance, information and community they need to build their self-awareness, skills, and confidence for success in an independent board-level career
