About Us

Our Company

There is a significant and growing need for a globally-recognised network of suitably experienced and trained Board Directors as organisations evolve to meet the business challenges of the 21st century. In the UK alone there are just under 250,000 business which employ between 10 and 250 people. There are also 185,000 registered charities, many of them in urgent need of senior level strategic and governance support. Every one of these organisations will have a Board of Board Directors who will need up-to-date knowledge and skills or to be supplemented by people who can fill any gaps. There is a significant requirement for properly skilled and experienced people.

Furthermore, the increased frequency of board meetings and the accelerated pace of decision-making had exposed weaknesses in board composition and increased the level of churn in board positions while the move to virtual board meetings has largely removed geographical barriers to board recruitment.

Our Mission

Transpire’s mission is to meet the demand for Board directors with the right knowledge, skills and experience. We help our members get board ready and stay board ready – on top of their game and ready to compete in this global marketplace.

Transpire Core Team

Transpire exists to bridge the gap between a successful executive career and serving on the Board. The people who run the organisation, who provide the coaching and training, who lead our Faculties and who speak at Transpire sessions are all experts in their field.
